Our design studio is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Although 90% of our projects are in Arizona, our design processes allow us to provide design services to our clients with multiple homes or primary residences in other geographies including California, Texas, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Interior Architecture and Design

Once you’ve hired an architect or a builder for your brand-new home or full home renovation, you may quickly realize that you need professional design assistance to help with the 1000’s of decisions that need to be made quickly during the process. Both interior and exterior. We have heard too many times from our clients, “We should have hired you earlier.” In our experience, the earlier you hire a design firm, the better the results. However, regardless of when you hire us, Donna Brann Interiors can step right and help you make decisions in keeping with the style and enhancing the integrity of the architect’s vision of the home. Our team reviews interior and exterior floor plans and bathroom/kitchen layouts, selects of finishes and fixtures, creates gorgeous architectural details and designs with the furnishings and lighting in mind, right from the start. We include a selection of both show-stopping features and functional, comfortable elements. For this service, we work on a fixed project fee for the design and an hourly Project Management fee for critical milestones during construction. A minimum expenditure is required with our firm which we set based on your specific project spending needs.

NEW BUILDS & RENOVATION

Whether you are building a home from the ground up or sticking with the bones of your home and renovating, our firm guides you through all of your decisions including obtaining a quick project cost range before you get official bids. We get the design right and select all of the fixtures and finishes before official bidding from your selected general contractor or our preferred general contractors. The drawings and plans are developed by our team, the design is completely scoped out, even the areas where we need the contractor’s expertise for feasibility/practical ideas on how to execute on a specific unique design feature. Our process is sound and repeatable. We stay involved in ensuring the design is executed to plan. All the way to punch list and final installs. For this service, we work on a fixed project fee for the design and an hourly Project Management fee for critical milestones during construction. Interior and Exterior Whole Home Furnishings

Your house is structured and laid out exactly as you like it and now you want to furnish it. Beautifully. You see lots of inspiration photos on Instagram that speak to you. And you definitely do not want a cookie cutter home. You want it to reflect your unique personality. A truly bespoke space, designed just for you. We’ve been doing this awhile and we know that many clients are not completely in tune with their own distinctive style. We believe that most people enjoy multiple design styles, even more so with a couple and a family. In order for the styles to work with each other, they have to be expertly layered atop one another. Helping clients discover their layered design style is one of the things we do best. We can work with your existing furnishings, fixtures and artwork. And, we can start with a blank canvas and add completely new furnishings to your home to create a cohesive whole home design that truly reflects you and your family.

Kitchen and Bathroom Design

A plethora of our projects start with bathroom renovations. We’ve refreshed and remodeled over 50+ bathrooms and we continue to get inspired for each and every one. “Ahhhh” is the feeling we are going for when we remodel a bathroom. Do you want to expand your shower and remove that eyesore of a built-in bathtub? Do you want to increase the value of your home by creating a new bathroom from an unused closet? We work bathroom miracles. However, the ultimate for us is kitchen design because kitchens are the true hub of a home. We discover the best flow for how you and your family use your kitchen. Do you want a professional chef’s kitchen or a cozy and functional family gathering area for hanging out and homework? Or both? Do you entertain often and require lots of counter space? Are you looking for design elements that wow like custom islands and hoods to add to the beauty of the kitchen? We help both the cooks and the ‘cleaner-uppers’ by designing for and understanding exactly how you use your kitchen, even down to the detail of what is in each cabinet and drawer. We will give you a kitchen that will both wow you, your friends and your neighbors and that will also help make cooking and cleaning much simpler.

A LA CARTE DESIGN

Not ready to jump into a whole home renovations or whole home furnishings? Is your budget a bit more limited prompting the need to spread out the work over a longer period of time? We would love to help you start with a single room and work from there. If your guest bedrooms need a refresh before your big holiday party or your outdoor spaces are getting worn and dusty or your home office is proving to be less than inspiring, Donna Brann Interiors would love to help you transform your home room by room.

BEYOND STAGING

Are you thinking of selling your home? Is your real estate agent suggesting a bathroom refresh, updated flooring, neutral paint colors, updated lighting or changes in hardware including door handles and a WiFi doorbell? Our Beyond Staging service brings together great design and contractors to quickly refresh your home before listing. Donna Brann Interiors can bring this together for you so you can feel confident your home will show to its best ability within your budget. Our trade partners love participating in these quick transformations.

You signed the proposal, Your project is officially ready to start. The creative process begins. This is where we define your design style, analyze your wants/needs, and define the critical elements for your design. We create As-Is CAD plans of your space. We field measure using the latest technology. For new builds, we do an architectural review of the design. We start to understand how the space is or is not flowing, functioning and working for your lifestyle. We set the Scope of Work and overall design style and direction for your home. Design

Detailed and cohesive design happens in this phase of the process including space planning, architectural design, selecting finishes including cabinetry and custom millwork, countertops, flooring, tile, wall and ceiling coverings and the beginnings of furnishings design and selections including lighting, metal finishes, wood finishes, textures and fabrics. The design presentation is where we present multiple concepts that meet your budget and timing for your space. We discuss how the design resonates with you. The result of this stage is a final design plan ready for construction estimates.

Build

The design takes shape as it makes it way to the builder for gathering estimates for construction. Donna Brann Interiors provides the critical documentation including Scope of Work, floor plans, elevations and the detailed finish schedule for the builder / contractor. These detailed plans and drawings allow the builder to provide clear instructions to sub-contractors. We trouble shoot any issues that arise on the jobsite with the contractors and revisit the plans as required. We help provide you with documentation required for your Home Owners Association approvals.

Our firm is actively engaged at the jobsite with the contractors during the construction, execution and installation phases. There will be unknowns that are unearthed when moving walls and breaking through floors and ceilings. We work closely with the trades to make alterations and decisions on-site, ensuring that the design is not compromised and the schedule is maintained. During install, our team is at your home directing the installers to perfectly position your furniture, rugs, lighting, accessories, wall coverings, art, bedding, so your house becomes a home before your eyes.
