LD Development hired Donna Brann Interiors for our second project together. Working with our real estate agent, we found the right property in the Arcadia area of Phoenix on a street where 30% of the homes were undergoing renovation.

One thousand (1000) sq feet of space was added in the form of a huge master suite and a new two car garage. We opened the kitchen up to the great room and added space by removing interior walls and increasing the height of the ceiling.

Details include a gorgeous, angled floor to ceiling tiled fireplace wall and rough-hewn beam, beautiful warm greige engineered hardwood flooring, a wet bar area with beaded glass-fronted cabinets, a wine closet with built-in wine fridge, and large pantry cabinetry near the breakfast nook with open shelving and a drop zone, and a laundry room complete with a hanging bar for drying clothes, fabulous tile flooring, and a custom mudroom.

The completely new master suite boasts high ceilings and great natural light as well as a sitting area in front of a two-sided fireplace with access to the outdoor space. The master bath is gorgeous and serene with a freestanding tub and a glass enclosed shower, beautiful custom-built wainscoting, gorgeous gold hardware and beautiful tile.

The exterior of the house is a play in contrasts with a charcoal and white palette that works wonderfully with the vibrant green of the lawn and trees. By painting the wall around the property charcoal, the yard felt much larger and the color lent itself to a hip and modern feel.
